We made it!

 Well, it appears we all made it through Christmas and now we are just a couple days away from 2010. Wow, time to start gearing up for another great year. New years resolutions? I don't really believe in them too much. You should set yourself obtainable goals and stive for that. Be sure to make sure all goals you set are obtainable and don't set too many goals. Completing one goal really hypes you up for getting the next one, but too many goals can set you up for an unexpected failure. We must learn to move toward the end goal by reaching small one along the way.
 Hope everyone has a great new years. Stay safe and keep smiling.

Christmas is coming

Seems Christmas is upon us again. I love this time of year. Giving gifts and sharing smiles. Always my fav things to do. I will miss going to karate over the next couple weeks. I really enjoy going with my Son.
 I have started a new blog for Birmingham Academy of Martial Arts as well. I will try to keep all the relevent, up to date, and important news on there for those interested.

Long over Due Update

Well in the last few months I have given up on WoW. It's a nice game, just not my bag. I have returned to playing Urban Terror as well. the new release
of Urban Terror seems to be pretty solid. Quake 4, sadly, is dieing a slow death. I finally shut down the server after a few months of being idle.
I have recently started the Alabama LoCo Team for Ubuntu Linux. We have had some really good turn out for membership and hopefully now we can start planning more projects. If you haven't checked out Ubuntu as an operating system, I would like to suggest you give it a look.
I guess the only other news would be the remodeling of my house. That seems to be eating up a lot of time and sweat for me. It's not major remodeling just more of needed repairs.

Late again

Well, here I sit. Needing to go to bed and yet I sit here awake. My boy has been sick lately and I think that is part of why I'm up. I figure the later I stay up the longer Bobbi can sleep because I can go help the little man.

I finished installing the usb ports on my XBox today as well. Now I just have to find a way to get the install files onto the XBox so I can install linux. All the usb jumpdrives I have are not compatible. I may just break down and by a small device that allows one to write staight to an Xbox memory card.
I guess that is all I will trouble you with tonight. I think I will turn in soon. I do have to work tomorrow and maybe even take my Boy back to the doctor.

Out of Town

Well it appears I'm out of town for a couple of days again. This sure does get old. I think afterthe first of the year I will look into doing something about it. I worked on the server some this weekend. Seems Quake4 still has some flaws to work out.
I guess being out of town has gotten harder because of all the time I have spent with my family. I look back now and cannot for the life of me see how I ever went out of town as much as I did. It's amazing what power the the voice of a child holds.
I guess I'll close here tonight and just try to rest.

Christmas is here.

It's official, Christmas has arrived. I now have all the decorations out and it truly looks like Christmas has just thrown up at our house. :)
I'm glad though. Even though I have to work out of town the week before Christmas I am still excited. I really love this time of year. I does wonders for the soul to help others out and put a smile on childrens faces.
have been spending most of my online time managing the Q4 server I set up ASWP. We just changed it over to a Q4 Max server but I'm not sure how well thats going. I may have to change it back to bring the regular players back, who knows.

way I guess thats all for now. Maybe I'll sneak in later and have some deep conversation with myself.

Be sure to try out a game or two of Quake 4. Very fun single player mode. Multy player still need some work but, it's getting there.

Welcome

Well it seems this is the first post in my Blog. Not real sure if I will even keep it but I have decided none the less to try.
I myself am an overhead crane service tech from Alabama. I have been doing this kind of work Waaaaayyyy too long.
