Waterfall (Meditation)

As I sit, breath in today
For tomorrow never comes.
I can't help but feel this way
Knowing I'll always be the the one.

As I sit, exhale the pain
Watch it all just fade away
All this chaos I'm to blame
Need to let go of the grey.

And as I sit here
I know the reason
I know the flow of life today.
And it consumes me
Taking me over
Taking my mind so far away.

Bring me back
Back to my center
Back to the basic of it all.
Back to a time when
I had control then,
Back before the water falls

Breaking me down,
pulling me down.
Washing away me self control
Taking my breath,
spin me around.
Do not know which way to go.

And as I sit here
I know the reason
I know just what I have to do.
Now I am focused
lost in the nothing
Lost in the breath that all consumes

Bring me back
Back to my center
Back to the basic of it all
Back to a time when
I had control then,
Back before the waterfalls.
